Ugh, school is sooo like that. Teachers give you these pre-packaged assignments they've been handing out for years, and so there's a million people with the exact same stuff in their portfolios, and you never get to do your own thing. My cousin is also in the graphic design biz, and she said there was like, nothing from school she could use for a portfolio. Everything she used she had to come up with outside of school, because otherwise it was just the same stuff everyone else had in their portfolios. Good for you for standing up for yourself! I've always been a Poe fan, so I hope your project with Poe goes well. Are you doing a specific poem?

Wendy talked you into that Chen full set?? She was totally pushing him on me real hard when I went to DDE before NDK. I was soooo tempted. The problem was, I was totally going to do it- I saw him on the website and waaaanted him, but then I realized when I compared him to Bowie's head, that the white-skin dollzone resin must have changed, because the white skin did match the minimee resin perfect, but now it's much lighter than the minimee resin, and half the reason I wanted Chen was so I could steal his body for Bowie. Bowie's body's skin tone isn't exactly right, it doesn't match his head as well as I want it to, because it's the dollzone normal skin from a while back. Well, at least my demon girl's body and head match. I just redid her face-up yesterday, too. Along with new face-ups for two of Amber's dolls. It was so much fun! Nice to have a day off to work on my dollies. That's one of my favorite parts of having them is customizing them.

Anyhow, congrats on getting Chen, he's a gorgeous boy, and I Love the new bodies. Especially that in-between one that's not too skinny, but not as big as the old body. I think that's the one your Chen would have, if it's the same Chen I saw at DDE. Amber and I are terrible, when we go to DDE, we're like, "do you have this doll you can show us, what about that doll?" So we're always making them go back into their stock and search for stuff for us. I sooo almost bought a Mihael that day, too, but he had the gentle body, and I like the model body, or whatever it's called. But then I'd have to buy SD boy clothes, since I don't really have any since I got rid of my only 60cm boy. I had a DIM Archernar, but I sold him. I hated his body And dude, now I'm in trouble, because I'm totally in love with fairyland's new littlefee's, and so I know as soon as they're released I'm going to be ordering at least one of them. And you're right, I should probably get a real man too, so I'm not buying resin men all the time >_>
